Think Pink: Interior Design Inspiration from Jeanine Lobell

It’s October and while our children’s thoughts turn to ghosts and goblins and orange pumpkins, their moms are keenly aware of another important October color: Pink!

As in Think Pink.

Throughout the month, I will be providing posts with a pink theme in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I have more than one girlfriend who is a survivor of breast cancer. Though I will maintain their privacy, this post goes out to you gutsy gals. Hope wherever you are, you are celebrating survival with a glass of pink champagne in hand.

Recently, in Elle Decor, Jeanine Lobell’s stunning interiors were featured. She is an avid user of pink whether as accent color as seen above in her serene living room or as…

a full wall treatment in the Foyer. A foyer can be a great place to use a dramatic color.

Ethereal pink in her girls’ room. Doesn’t it feel like angels’ wings?

I love the masculine contrast of the dramatic black headboard against all of the feminine color.

Here the pink is a dramatic accent color on the chairs – fabric by Designer’s Guild – and in the artwork. I love the cheeky twist on the theme of branches and leaves.

I love to hear from you. What do you love about color?

Do you find choosing color overwhelming? Start in your closet. What are your favorite colors to wear?

Still baffled? I am just a phone call away and will be happy to provide you with a full home color consultation.

Every picture is just so yummy! Love the colors Jeanne Lobell uses — I’ll have to look her up, thank you. Plus, the fabric on those last chairs… Wonder if the Hubs would mind pink in the home? Great post — look forward to the pink theme this month. A big *clink* to all your strong friends who’ve pulled through the ordeal. It’s something to celebrate.
